 2021 world I.B.B.A. Championships.  Australia

Ron Homer of Yeovil VIBC. qualified for the world I,B,B.A playoffs, held in Worthing .Starting well, Ron soon found himself chasing the game for nearly an hour. But being in this level of competition before, scoring a four late in the game saw him right back in it. This kicked started the surge and great shot play to see him over the finish line.

Ron has now rightfully earned his place in the 2021 world I.B.B.A championships, which are being held on the GOLD COAST, Australia.

Congratulations and Well done Ron.

Success for Yeovil Triples.

2019 National outdoor singles and pairs championships.

Congratulations to Ron Homer and Maurice Mo Perry of YVIbc

Back from the Visually Impaired Bowls England national singles and pairs outdoor championships, Ron Homer and Mo Perry came home celebrating a successful weeks bowling. Ron played in his B2 singles sight group and was undefeated topping off his performance with a convincing win in the final. Ron joined Mo Perry in the B4 sight category pairs, which they won on the first day of the competition

Mo did well against strong opposition  to finish forth in his B4 group for the third year running.

This event this year was held in Weston Super-mare, at a rather wet Clarence Park bowls club. The only dry day was the last but the bowlers then had to contend with a very noisy air day practice session.
